As Daft Punk would say on their Discovery album, "It's been much too long, I feel it coming on, the feeling's getting strong." I haven't been nearly dutiful enough to my web-posting as I should be, and now that I have given up playing computer games and studying for Uni, I shall now focus my energies on becoming a valued member of the Internet community.

So, what's happened in my life since I was last on Deviant? I'll tell you what! Not much! I finished school, got the awesomely high ENTER score of 98.25 (for those who don't know, that's pretty high) and enrolled in Engineering/Arts at Melbourne University. I tried to make a few movies but noone ever rocks up to filmings so I end up just filming myself and that's just lame. I tried to write a novel but I'm really lazy. I tried to get a girlfriend but I'm to shy and insecure about myself (geez how original, you loser); plus I believe I am a psychological masochist, in that I only ever go after girls who I know hate me, not that there are many girls out there who like me .

I did really badly in my first year at Uni because (surprise, surprise) I didn't do any work. I am now failing Japanese, which I stupidly decided to pick up at Uni having never done it before in my life... > I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME KANJI!!! I tried to write a comic book but, funnily enough, one of the few things I seem to be really bad at (besides Japanese) is drawing. I spent many tiresome hours at my desk, slaving over a boiling hot pile of papers, tearing at my stomach with a 2B pencil and shredding my eye-lashes with the eraser... that is how you draw, right?

Anyway, I haven't yet decided that I'm a total failure creatively so now I've forced myself to read a few books and get back to writing my never-ending source of anxiety and angst in the guise of my first novel, Ashes. Don't judge me for taking so long with it, it takes me about 4 hours to write one decent paragraph and I can only write properly after about 1am, so it's hard to write much when I have to get up at 8am.

Anywho.... I just thought I catch up with myself for a while. Sorry to sound like such a whinging bitch and I promise my later entries won't be as self-centred and whiny. Catchya all on tha flippity-flop! (oh no you di'nt just say that!)
